One top opening where the rest of the shelf has two
HYPER VENTURE HVLC stretch cover, M
A well-weighted stretch cover with the shelf's most complete size chart — and four of five bullets about color.
Three hundred grams of polyester at 15 per cent spandex is the right specification for a stretch cover: enough body to resist being scuffed along a belt, enough stretch to go over a packed case without loading the seams. The size chart is the most complete on this shelf — 18 to 22, 23 to 26, 27 to 30 and 31 to 32 in, with no gap anywhere — and it zips on both sides as well as the base, so it does not care which side your case carries its grab handle.
The structural question is the opening. This cover has one large opening for the top handle; the two covers at the top of this shelf cut two, one for the telescoping handle and one for the carry handle. Cases differ: where the two handles sit together, one wide opening is simpler and stronger, and where the grab handle is set well apart, one opening either fails to reach it or has to be cut so large that the top of the case is left bare. That is worth two minutes with the case in front of you.
What the page spends its space on is appearance. Four of its five bullets are about vivid colors, fashionable patterns, reflecting your personality and finding your bag among the masses — which is a real function of a cover, and four fifths of a listing is a lot of it. The fifth bullet carries the size chart and the note that the suitcase is not included, which is a sensible thing to say on a page whose photographs all contain one. There is no identification window and no tag cut-out, like everything else on this shelf, and the promise that the material keeps a suitcase “looking brand new” is the sort of claim a cover earns by being replaced rather than by lasting.

What travelers ask
How much does one opening instead of two matter?
It depends on your case. A wheeled case usually has a telescoping handle on the top face and a grab handle beside it, and the two covers at the top of this shelf cut two separate openings for them. This cover has one large opening for the top handle. On a case where both handles sit close together, one wide opening is the simpler solution; on a case where the grab handle is set well away from the telescoping one, one opening either does not reach or has to be large enough to leave the top of the case exposed.
Is the size chart reliable here?
It is complete, which is the first test. The four bands run 18 to 22, 23 to 26, 27 to 30 and 31 to 32 in with no gap and no overlap — unlike the cover above it on this shelf, which leaves 21 in between two sizes. What it does not do, and what nothing on this shelf but the clear PVC cover does, is give you a dimension in inches to measure against: it matches your case's size name to its own size name, which is exactly the comparison the buying tip on this page warns about.
Why mention that the suitcase is not included?
Because the pictures invite the question. A cover is photographed on a case, and a listing that sells only the cover for the price of a cover has a reason to say so in the bullets. It is a small sign of a page written by someone who has read the questions buyers actually ask — which is also what the four bullets about color are, in their way.
